Identification Checkpoint

Update: 02/02/2014

The aim of this site is to offer a platform, where I can post news, views, reviews and comment on the things (subjects) that interest me.  Also to be a personal Journal detailing the lives of myself and my wife, Charlotte.  While the aim is to have a light hearted approach, and to look at things with humor.  I would like to think my writings and thoughts are insightful and my hope ultimately is that the reader enjoys reading my blog.

Alien Candy Mission Statement:

We (I) at Alien Candy believe the big questions in life need to be asked.  I will use scientific principles to investigate in order to provide Mankind with the answers, to myths, paranormal, popular held scientific theories and much more.  Alien Candy can't promise definitive answers but this blog is not afraid to deal with the subjects that even the X-files (if it were not fictional) would not dare to tackle.  This is The Alien Candy Files, example questions will include...   Why do pound shops really exist?  Why do I keep finding fluff in my belly button?  Why do pot noodles taste so awful (inspired by Red Dwarf)?   Is the meaning of life really 42 (Douglas Adams   Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy)?  By the way at the time of writing this I will be 42 next birthday in March!

I promise never to bog you down with jargon or confound you with double talk.  I personally believe the truth is always the simple straight forward answer.  Plus this is a sight dedicated at looking at the funny, ridicules and preposterous in our every day lives.  I will not allow governments to silence me, or the men in black to intimidate me.  I will expose the truth, Alien Candy will not be silenced!

As a man of science I am always coming up with new formulas (concoctions) in our labs, and believe in testing new recipes out on myself, so you the public don't have to take the risks.  A scientist work is a dangerous one, but if I can create tasty meals that the whole of humanity can benefit.  I will share my ideas regardless of any personal gain. But I believe that I should be prepared to try out any new chemistry breakthroughs, using myself as a test subject before public trials begin.  Bottom line if none of that makes sense, Alien Candy is all about seeing the funny side of modern life.

On the more serious side this is a personal blog about events in my life, personal projects I am involved with and my interest in music, science fiction and more.  I will also feature interviews as well, with anyone who has the front to dare to do an interview with me.  Come on!  Give the Alien some candy!

This Alien's motto is:  "Don't Take Life Too seriously".

By the way, Real Metal rules, play it loud!

About:  Alien Candy (Is There Life On Mars?)

The Name Alien Candy (Is there life on Mars?) came from the darkest corners of my imagination.  I wanted something funny and I like Science fiction, plus I wanted to write about my life, me and my wife, and those things that make you think in every day life that make you stop and ponder.  Why am I here?  Was there really a "Big Bang".

Well it seemed like a good idea at the time, or maybe it was the AMP energy drink I drank yesterday that blew my mind.  I also want to write about the little things in life I find bizarre.

Alien Candy apparently, is the tenth episode of R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series.  More information can be found here. Although I didn't know this at the time I created this blog.
